we make wishes come true!

we make sure the kids get what they need.
G - Giving
giving provides an intrinsic reward that is far more valuable than the gifts we receive.
E - Excellence
our hunger for excellence does not inhibit us from shooting for the stars.
L- Love
willingness to prioritize others’ wellbeing or happiness above our own.
S- Self respect
Focus on what we can change, do what makes us happy.
Each year our Good Cheer Gift Giving Party helps between 125 and 225 foster children and at-risk youth receive presents, festive snacks and a place to enjoy the Christmas holiday.
In addition, we work with our non-profit group homes to fulfill wishes for children throughout the year, be it for living necessities, educational needs, or birthdays.
SD Foster Angels’ Founder Peggy Goldsmith has been an advocate for the Foster Youth Program for over two decades, and has hosted 18 annual Good Cheer Gift Giving Parties, and fulfilled the wishes of close to three thousand children in the San Diego foster care system.
Averaging nearly $12,000 raised per event, San Diego Foster Angels has raised over $150,000 in cash and in-kind donations to help fund youth parties and gifts for San Diego foster and at-risk children, as well as supporting extended living skills and other needs for the children.

Our biggest annual event is our December holiday party for foster kids and at-risk youth, held annually since 2004. Participate by volunteering at our event, buying a wish list for a child, or providing us with in-kind donations or services for our party.
Other opportunities we have throughout the year are:
Educational Classes
Sponsorship of small events for our foster care non-profit partners
In-kind donations, let us know if you have furniture, electronics, luggage, gently used clothing, or other items… we will find a home for your gently used items
Let us know your interests and we will find you the best volunteer and donation opportunity to suit your needs.
